I was just wondering how do your pets get their names. When i first started having pet rodents i named them after alcoholic drinks.

Now i have winky the hamster name because he has only one eye.
Jeff the dwarf Hamster but didn`t name him as he aready named when i rescued him.

Usually it's some trait when then are little that leads me to a name.
Christ Haven
- she's my tiny beagle and the love of my life. Don't get me wrong, they
are ALL beloved pets - but she is bonded with me in a way that no dog has ever been in all my life. The next to join the family was JoJo - her registered name
is "Joe's Crescent Moon" - she's named after her sire, "Little Joe Vom Donner" - and has a crescent moon on her right hip. Since I
had planned to breed JoJo - who has a wonderful pedigree, the next to join our family was Tanna - "Mojave Desert Santana" - who is also from a long
line of "Field and International Field Champions", as is JoJo. One night while "browsing" online, I saw a tiny little girl from show
champion lines who was looking for a new home - something was so vulnerable about her - that I had to have her. Her name is "Ladmar's Whole Lotta
Trouble" - aka "Lottie" - she was already named when I got her, too, as was Tanna. JoJo and Tanna have two sons, "Jo-Tan's Little
Dancing Joe" who was named after his mom, his dad, his "grandpa Joe", and his maternal great grandmother, "Windwalker's Dancing
Cloud". His brother I started calling "Jack" when he was just hours old - due to his habit of crawling into the corner of the whelping box and
getting stuck and YELLING to get out -Jack was sold to a friend who kept the "Jack", but his registered name is "Sniff 'n Snack Palouse
Jack" - he was returned to me because of his love of chasing their barn cats. Tanna and Lottie had a beautiful little girl - who combines the best of the
show and field lines. Her registered name is "My Little Bella Angel" - but is called "Bella Boo" most of the time. The only survivor of
JoJo and Tanna's last litter is "Jo-Tan's Miracle Angel" - who almost didn't make it, but with a lot of TLC and bottle feeding, she
thrived. Angel is quite a little girl.
